It has been one of the greatest joys of my life to serve as pastor of this great church. The people at Grace accept and love you just the way you are. I have been married to my best friend and love of my life, Cindy, for over 35 years and we have two grown children, Travis and Haley. My passion is to see people transformed by the power of God’s amazing grace and develop an intimate relationship with Jesus. Most Sundays you’ll find me preaching in both services and I invite you to get a taste of our services by visiting our media page. Please send me an email or give me a call if you have questions. I’d love to meet you.

I love what God is doing here at GBC! It is evident to anyone that this is a church family who loves God and loves each other. The people are authentic and have welcomed my family and me with open arms since the day we first arrived in 2014. GBC is a place where we earnestly seek the Lord in reaching our community for Christ, and it is such an honor to serve this church as student pastor. My wife, Kate, is beautiful and brilliant--the source of all of my great ideas. My daughter, Zoe, is truly a daddy’s girl, and my wonderful son, Charlie Dax, can light up the room with his smile. I graduated from George W. Truett Theological Seminary (Baylor University) with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry in 2014. I’ve previously served in ministry as a middle school minister, minister of pastoral care, and volunteer hospital chaplain. Before answering God’s calling to vocational ministry, I worked as a juvenile probation officer for several years. My desire is for our students to experience God and allow the grace of the Lord to permeate on all levels.

It is my great privilege and joy to be a part of the team of Grace Bible Church during this time in her life, and mine. I have been married to my lovely wife, Rita, for 43 years. We have 3 wonderful daughters and sons-in-law who have blessed us with 7 grandchildren, all living within 5 miles from our very busy home.  One of my prayers for Grace is for each of us to know the Lord more intimately, and, by His Spirit, model and lead others in their walk to enjoy His Abundant Life within. I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for Grace in her spiritual growth and her outreach into Georgetown, Central Texas, the U.S., and the world. I look forward to meeting those of you I have yet to meet, and getting to know each of you better.

  • SHERYL VANDYKE, director of children's ministry

God has given me a tremendous love for children--I have loved being a mother and grandmother, a kindergarten teacher, and now a children's minister. Getting the opportunity to support parents as they lead their children spiritually is a huge blessing in my life. It has been my joy to lead the children's ministry here since 2005 and there's nothing I love more than seeing children grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and finding community with others within the church family. I've been married to Gary for 38 wonderful years, and we are blessed with 3 children and their spouses and 8 wonderful grandchildren. Please contact me if there's any way I can assist you.

The Pastoral Care Ministry is the point of contact for people attending Grace Bible Church that are either hospitalized, in an assisted living or nursing home, are home bound, or have a physical need for which we can be of assistance. This ministry is a blessing to me and my wife Linda. We solicit your continued prayer that our efforts are pleasing to our Lord and a comfort to those we serve. We are the proud and busy grandparents to 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

God led us to Grace Bible Church after months of praying for a home church where we can plant our family. Norm and I have been married for 24 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Hanna and Sammy. In 2006, we moved to Texas from San Diego. I have been in ministry and joyfully serving the Lord for the last 15 years. Prior to serving at Grace, I was a Director at a Crisis Pregnancy Center in CA and an Administrative Assistant at another local church. I have a passion for intercessory prayer and for serving God's servants. It is an awesome privilege to serve here at Grace, and it's pure joy to use my God-given gifts and talents to bless my church family and anyone who enters our church door.

My husband Lon and I moved from Northern California to Texas in 2007. Having been members of a wonderful church in California, we were praying that God would lead us to our new home. From the very first Sunday we attended Grace Bible Church, we knew we had found a warm and loving family at a Bible-teaching church! I had the privilege of serving as the Office Administrator at Grace for six years and then, after a three year “retirement,” am so happy to have returned to working in the office two days a week. Lon and I have 6 married children and 12 grandchildren, the loves of our lives

  • Francesca Lutz, Ministry assistant

I'm very thankful to be part of this church with David, my husband of 25 years. We met in my native Italy when David was station there. Over the years, the Army assigned many duty stations, and we were blessed to come to Georgetown in 2008.  Soon after, we found our first church to worship with our daughters, Virginia and Mia, and never looked back. We have been at Grace for two years, and from the very beginning have felt the genuine caring of its members and a strong bond with its message. I'm very grateful to God for leading us here. You can find me in the office at the front desk if you need any assistance or just want to drop by. I would love to meet all of you.
