SCARS is the name of the youth group at Grace Bible Church. Galatians 6:17 says,
"From now on, let no one cause me trouble,
for I bear on my body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ."
Christ was scarred on the cross on our behalf. Not only is this the name of the Group, but this is what motivates all that we do. We exist to reach the lost by presenting an authentic picture of Jesus Christ.
The Youth of GBC have a very active ministry reaching out to the students in our community through times of study, social activities and service projects.
School of Christian Living
9:15 am each Sunday
Junior High (Grades 6-8)
Monday evenings 6:00-8:00 pm. A time of worship, fellowship, prayer, games and a lesson. There is also time for students to "hang out."
Senior High (Grades 9-12)
Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30 pm. A time of worship, fellowship, prayer, games and a lesson. There is also time for students to "hang out."
Sunday night Bible study - 5:30 pm open to all
Special Events throughout the year include bowling, concerts, movies, lock-ins, community serve projects.
