    If you enjoy being with teens and have a heart to make a difference in their lives, we have several ways you can become involved in this ministry. Some positions require serving weekly, while others are on an as-needed basis for special events. You can also be part of the Prayer Team dedicated to praying for our youth and their families.

    Be a blessing in a young child's life. We have weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly positions available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for a variety of age groups.

  • women's ministry [LADIES OF GRACE]

    Time Commitment: Varies by position

    If you are gifted in teaching, speaking, mentoring, media publication or organizing and planning events, we have many opportunities throughout the year to serve in these ways.

    Time Commitment:  Once a month

    HUGS meets once a month to knit, sew, quilt, or crochet items for our church family and ministries Grace supports.  If you are skilled in any of these areas, we would love for you to join our team.

    HUGS UNLIMITED is designed for beginners who want to learn how to knit, sew, quilt, or crochet or help work on a project. Open to all ages, but kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

    If you have a heart for worship and are skilled in music, multimedia, sound engineering or video production we would love to have you join our Worship Team! We are always seeking talented people who want to use their gifts and talents for the glory of God.

    Helps with planning, preparing and serving during church-wide events such as Passover Seder, Vacation Bible School, Welcome Classes, conferences hosted by Grace and potluck dinners.

    On request, this group prepares and delivers meals to those recovering from surgery, illness or accident, or families welcoming a newborn.

    Time Commitment: Once a month

    Once a month we collect and deliver non-perishable food items for several local low-income apartment complexes in Georgetown.  You can help with donating, sorting or delivering.

    The Missions Team oversees the Missions Ministry by promoting and communicating with our supported missionaries, praying for them, coordinating their visits to Grace, and organizing mission trips.

    Our First Impressions Team seeks to make all people who attend Grace feel welcomed and valued by greeting and assisting them with genuine hospitality. We are looking for volunteers who can spend 30 minutes once a month greeting on Sunday mornings and occasionally serving as greeters for special events.

    The Safety Ministry works to provide as safe and secure an environment as possible for those attending church activities. Sound judgment and appropriate skills are used to help safeguard the health and well-being of those in attendance.

    The Openers of this team unlock and prepare the church building and make coffee before Sunday services.  The Closers clean the coffee pots and close the building after services.

  • moving team

    This team provides moving assistance within the local area for Grace individuals and families -- it may include packing, unpacking, help with heavy items, and providing trucks and moving supplies if needed.

  • facilities and maintenance team

    Members of this team help with small repairs and minor maintenance of the church building and grounds.

    Hosts and leaders are needed to start new groups in our growing CONNECT Groups ministry.

  • mentoring ministry

    Our adopted school, Frost Elementary School, has a waiting list of children who want mentors to come spend 30 minutes with them once a week. Be a part of a child's life today!
