SCHOOL OF CHRISTIAN LIVING classes

 

The adult School of Christian Living (SCL) is for the ongoing spiritual growth of each adult at Grace. Its primary purpose is to give them opportunities to learn more about the practical application of Scripture in all aspects of their lives in Christ and includes life-enriching classes in:

  • the Bible and Theology
  • understanding and living the exchanged life
  • applying biblical truths in marriage, parenting, work, finances, retirement, and all aspects of life.

These classes are designed to help believers "grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ"
[2 Peter 3:18].

YEAR-ROUND CLASS SCHEDULE

Fall/Winter Schedule - September through December

Winter/Spring Schedule - January through April

Summer Schedule - May through August


Classes are usually 8, 12 or 18 weeks long.

Pastor Rick is teaching what will prove to be very timely and applicable in the CURRENT CHAOTIC CULTURE in which we are living. The class will be discussing Paul Billheimer's book, Destined for the Throne and sermons by Tony Evans interspersed every other week.

PHILIPPIANS AND COLOSSIANS: HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE

Sundays at 9 am - portable 1.

Led by Michael Campbell

Join us this summer as we study the books of Philippians and Colossians. This class will not just be a class on these two wonderful books of the Bible, but we will also learn how to study the Bible.

-  What is the difference between the versions of the Bible?

-  Why study the Bible?

-  How to study books, chapters and verses.

-  How to study a topic in the Bible and much more

This class will be helpful if you have been studying for years or are new to the Bible.
