    Members of this ministry visit the sick and injured who are in hospitals. They  also minister to members of the church family who are home bound due to illnesses and families welcoming newborns.

    Be a blessing in a young child's life. We have weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly positions available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for a variety of age groups.

    This ministry prepares coffee for the church family on Sundays.

    Our First Impressions Team seeks to make all people who attend Grace feel welcomed and valued by greeting and assisting them with genuine hospitality. We are looking for volunteers who can spend 30 minutes once a month greeting on Sunday mornings and occasionally serving as greeters for special events.

    Once a month we collect and deliver non-perishable food items for several local low-income apartment complexes in Georgetown.  You can help with donating, sorting or delivering.

  • fostering and adoption ministry

    Time Commitment: Varies

    If you would like to be a part of an information and support network for families who are fostering and/or adopting, asking and answering questions for those interested in fostering and adopting, this is the place for you!  We recognize the many parts of the body of Christ, and everyone can play a part in meeting the needs of the many precious children needing a home and a family! You can help by praying, “adopting” a family to care for, providing child care for date nights or meals, and connecting those who have questions with those who have walked through the process. We hope that through the Foster and Adoption Ministry, fostered and adopted children, their families, and the many people loving and supporting them will all feel the love of our great God.

  • hospitality TEAM

    Time Commitment:  Once or twice a year

    Helps with planning, preparing and serving during church-wide events such as Passover Seder, Vacation Bible School, Welcome Classes, conferences hosted by Grace and potluck dinners.

    The Missions Team oversees the Missions Ministry by promoting and communicating with our supported missionaries, praying for them, coordinating their visits to Grace, and organizing mission trips.

  • Men's Ministry

    Our mission is to provide men with the resources to develop
    Godly character and to help equip them to influence their world
    for Jesus Christ.

  • moving team

    This team provides moving assistance within the local area for Grace individuals and families -- it may include packing, unpacking, help with heavy items, and providing trucks and moving supplies if needed.

    The Safety Ministry works to provide as safe and secure an environment as possible for those attending church activities. Sound judgment and appropriate skills are used to help safeguard the health and well-being of those in attendance.

    This ministry visits elderly members of our community by giving them the gift of song,and specifically old hymns that they grew up with.

    The minimum requirement is a heart to bless and the willingness to spend one-half hour to visit a nursing home.

    Our Stories Team is a group of creative people who use creative storytelling to glorify the name and purpose of Jesus Christ. Their goal is to encourage the church body to share stories of what Jesus is doing in their lives in print media, video, or in an interview on a Sunday morning. We are looking for more team members to join the team. If you are gifted in any of the following areas we want to invite you to join us:  photography, graphic design, film making and editing, creative story telling, proofreading, painting, DIY crafts,etc.

    If you enjoy being with teens and have a heart to make a difference in their lives, we have several ways you can become involved in this ministry. Some positions require serving weekly, while others are on an as-needed basis for special events. You can also be part of the Prayer Team dedicated to praying for our youth and their families.

    If you are gifted in teaching, speaking, mentoring, media publication or organizing and planning events, we have many opportunities throughout the year to serve in these ways.
